So did any one guess today’s blog feature? Why it’s the Ottawa Craft Beer Run! On Saturday August 27th at 10am, join me for this sudsy 5k run along the beautiful Rideau Canal. The race is part of the Ottawa Craft Beer Festival, taking place at Lansdowne Park from August 26-28, 2016.
If you’re curious about running but intimidated our city’s bigger races (totally feel you on that), the Ottawa Craft Beer Run is a great way to dip your toe into racing. Yes you’ll have a bib and a set course, but this low key event is more about having loads of fun than crushing your PB.
Individual registration is $65 per person, and team registration is $55 per person if you’ve got four people or more. And they’ve put together pretty much the best race kit EVER.

For Pivot’s Sake fosters youth engagement and mentorship by connecting with kids through skateboarding, and Ottawa Riverkeeper is a citizen-based group that protects and promotes the Ottawa River and its tributaries.
