I first wandered into the Westboro location of this Canadian beauty trailblazer last November, and I've been hooked ever since. I've tried their gel manis, pedis, waxing (read my borderline TMI waxing experience here), and brow services, and on every single visit they've wowed me.
These self-described dope-ass beauty bars got their start in Toronto 10 years ago, when a super smart 24 year old named Kristen Wood spied a gap in the spa industry. There were high-end spas and dirt cheap nail salons but nothing in between. So your choices were either a quality service with a big price tag, or a quickie service with varying results (and not always in the nicest environments).
Seeing the chance to create something new, Kristen dreamed up a beauty bar that would offer a comfortable, spotless environment with high quality, affordable services:

1. Walk-ins only, no booked appointments tomorrow. This event is first come first served, with one free service per person. They've gotta be fair so they can serve as many people as possible.
2. For your free service, choose from a quickie mani (regular polish only), quickie pedi (regular polish only), or ANY waxing service (including their famous Brazilly!).
3. Only free services are being offered tomorrow. That means you can enjoy a freebie tomorrow, then choose another day to come in for other services like a gel mani, facial, or whatever tickles your fancy.
4. All Ten Spot locations across Canada are open 11am - 7pm tomorrow, not their regular hours.
5. The first 20 people through the door at each location will receive a Dermalogica Skincare Faves kit!
