Hey all! New Years is fast approaching, is your #OOTD ready? I always get hung up shopping for New Years outfits: I love me a sparkly dress but I don’t want to shell out for something I might not wear again til next New Years. Cuz all-over metallics and sequins don’t translate super well to the office, brunch, errands, etc., you know?
But I’ve teamed up with the Victoire gals to bring you some 100% awesome dresses that you can 100% wear all year long, not just New Years Eve. AND THEY’RE ON SALE. And I'm giving away a $75 Victoire gift card. Omg you guys, let’s get started!
I love this dress. It’s a timeless a-line that’s impeccably made right here in Canada, and you’re going to wear again and again and again. The fabric has a tiny raised dot pattern with a bit of texture and a hint of sheen, so it’s great for dressing up or down. And it has pockets. And pleats. It’s literally everything you need in a go-to LBD.
For New Years, try this little number with some sassy back-seam tights, drop earrings, vampy lips, and a cat eye for a vintage look. Or pair it with your biggest, brightest bib necklace, equally bright lipstick, and a colourful suede heel. That’ll do nicely. For daytime, try slipping a collared blouse on underneath and wear it with opaque black tights and booties.
This little gem will grab attention whether you’re strutting into your New Year’s bash or rolling into the office laptop in hand. Or doing brunch with your best gals. I looove the rich magenta hue, the beautiful lacey texture, the v-back, and the sleeves. Can I get an amen for dresses with sleeves?
For New Years I’d style this up with some gold heels, and an up-do to show off some gold reverse stud earrings. Then for work, top it with a black blazer, a big watch, black tights, and Chelsea boots. Done. And in case you’re more of a neutrals gal, this little number is also available in classic black.
This one’s an investment piece but holy heck are you gonna wear the crap out of it. Damn sister. This jumpsuit has a high vee in the front, a dramatic low vee in the back, and POCKETS. With the most flattering wrap front you’ve ever seen. This is the piece to reach for if you want to look long, lean, and fierce coming and going.
For New Years pair this with your highest, pointiest black patent stilettos, and a chunky gold cuff bracelet. And a heckuva smokey eye. Same thing goes for your next girls night out. For brunch or the office, top this with a blush coloured blazer, a rose gold watch, and pointy flats. You’ll be good to go.
