Recently I stumbed on site called Scarlet & Julia, a new Canadian beauty e-tailer out of Montreal. I was super impressed that this upstart company was already carrying a heap of my favourite brands, like Stila, Eve Lom, Jouviance, Cargo, and even the ever elusive Lipstick Queen.
I also noticed they had a "Beauty Outlet" section of the site devoted entirely to flash sales on some pretty incredible beauty brands. I'm talking Burberry eyeshadow palettes for $20 (yes, $20!!), Chloé perfume for $49, French skincare starter kits for $39, and Bliss shower gels for $10. Whoa.
I was eager to try them out and placed an order right away. You know I'm a sucker for lipstick so naturally I plunked four lippies into my cart immediately: Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Como (bright purple) and Amalfi (warm hot pink), and Lipstick Queen's cult favourites Frog Prince and Hey Sailor. I flipped my lid when I saw they were carrying Lipstick Queen because this brand has been notoriously hard to find in Canada. Check that one off the list!
But I digress. Back to the shopping experience. Scarlet & Julia's online shop was easy to navigate, the checkout was simple, and shipping was free since my order was over $75.
